The Photographer & The Name

image KiMoMi Photography is a newly established photography company based in Augusta, Georgia. KiMoMi Photography works with state-of-the-art digital cameras to provide the best possible photos to its clients. KiMoMi Photography focuses on showcasing the beauty and sensualness of today’s woman while enabling her to luxuriate in her beauty.

Looking to establish itself with a portfolio of fresh, provocative, diverse new talent, KiMoMi Photography has an eye for capturing out of the ordinary settings as well as natural beauty. With ten years of photographic  experience under my belt, my reputation as a dependable creative and professional photographer is growing by leaps and bounds.

I have been interested in photography for most of my life and actively pursuing street photography for about 10 years. I began seriously working on my street photography when I started attending the Atlantic Beach Memorial Day Motorcycle Rally.  What better way to spend my vacation than combining my two favorite things...Motorcycleing and Photography.  Beautiful women, awesome machines and the beach.  Who could ask for anything more?

I decided it was time to start KiMoMi Photography in late 2007.  I am looking to build my clientele list with up-and-coming entertainers/models in the CSRA as well as those that are already in the industry.

If your looking to expand your portfolio KiMoMi Photography is available for TFP/TFCD work only if it is beneficial to both the company AND the model.  If you have questions about rates or anything else pertaining to KiMoMi Photography feel free to contact me.

The name "KiMoMi" is a combination of the first two letters of each of my daughters names.  KiMoMi Photography is in it's infancy but is definitely growing.

When I Take A Photograph...

imageit is more than just snapping a picture. When working with models I strive to convey their emotions and their feelings thru the lens of my camera. When someone views my photos, I want the viewer to wonder about that image; wonder what the model was thinking; wonder if that smile was genuine or did I have to coax it out of the model.  Capturing the emotion of the person or the aura of the event is what KiMoMi Photography strives to do.

The Thought Process...

imageI enjoy watching and studying people from a distance. I believe this is what drives my desire to take the perfect photograph. Viewing the world thru the lens of a camera lets me see things that most people don't see and probably have never even thought about.

Kimomi Photography Equipment

image The type of camera used by a photographer is personal preference. Talk to 5 different photographers who use 5 different brands of cameras and each will tell you the one he/she uses is the best. The fact of the matter is the person holding the camera is the difference maker when it comes to making a great photograph or just taking a picture.

My choice of camera is Konica/Minolta and Sony. The reason for that choice is easy to explain.  It's the brand I started my photography career with.
